In 2010, four young men attending school at Auburn University came together to play a show at the local bar that would ultimately change each of their lives forever. With roots ranging from Huntsville, Alabama, to Atlanta, Georgia - the boys found common ground covering classic Southern Rock artists they grew up listening to: The Allman Brothers Band, The Black Crowes, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Since that night in Alabama, The Bama Gamblers have headlined shows in eight different states playing their original music and maintaining a busy touring schedule year round.
With Eric Baath joinging the outfit on Hammond Organ and Piano, The Bama Gamblers successfully blend the influential "Muscle Shoals Sound" from North Alabama with the gritty, electric guitar based soul grown in Atlanta to create a naturally polished version of a classic vibe. With the help of Atlanta producer, Benji Shanks, The Bama Gamblers captured the essence of their live performances on their debut album 'Iron Mountain'- recorded WonderDog Sounds in Atlanta, Georgia and released in May 2014.
The Bama Gamblers have shared the stage with artists such as: American Aquarium, Bart Crow, Benjy Davis Project, Brent Cobb, The Casey Donahew Band, Chris Knight, The Dirty Guv’nahs, Flowtribe, Jonathan Tyler and the Northern Lights, Ingram Hill, Mama’s Love, Moon Taxi, The North Mississippi All-Stars, Revival, Tony Brook Band, The Vegabonds, and Texas rockers Whiskey Myers.
