Hay Folks, I’m nearly done with my 4th full length record, Haymaker. Sonically it’s my most ambitious project to date. I’ve written the kind of songs this time around that beg for more instrumentation. So, with the help of Dan McMahon and many other musicians near and far we were able to come up with something really special. Guitars, percussion, keys, horns and vocals, vocals, vocals. This album is for all the people who wanted to hear more from my arrangements, and it’s going to deliver in spades. While I love songs that are stark and haunting, I equally love the kind of records that hit you in the ears with a wall of sound. This, with your help will be the biggest, brassiest, back-up singin-est, boldest, most-fun record for your ears!
Most of the album is complete, I now just need a little help to get up over the crest of the hill and start rolling in the right direction. This of course is where you come in.
With your generous help, I’ll be able to finish recording the full-production LP, mix and master those tracks with some of the best ears working in Milwaukee and give it to the world. All this, with your help will be wrapped up before the summer begins!

ABOUT
Hayward Williams grew up with a guitar in his hands, performing from an early age in cafés, bars, and eventually rock clubs throughout his home state of Wisconsin and around the Midwest. A high school 'Battle of the Bands' champion, the textbook lonely college kid making dinner dates with his guitar, Williams took the well-worn suburban route to musical accomplishment: he hit the ground running with a '64 Gibson that his mother bought at a garage sale, listened hard to everything from the Beatles to Buckley, and somewhere along the way began to write the tunes that would become his own voice.
