I’ve been playing guitar and singing ever since I can remember, growing up there was always music on and I would always try to play my Dads guitar. I got my first guitar when I was about seven, which was a Harmony acoustic guitar. I didn’t get serious about music until high school where I was trying to get into bands, after several attempts I could never get anything going so I started to sing and do my own thing. After many bands, HeadRez, Chris Lunday Band, Uncle Nasty, to name a few, I finally found home in HeavyFoot. The gear I use is a Fender 410 Deville, 1972 Fender reissue Telecaster, ESP semi hollow body. No fx pedals.

I’m an electric guitarist for HeavyFoot and played in bands in Arizona , bands like Blind Justice, Eclipse and Chase band and shared the stage with bands , Motorhead. Madame X, Keel, Surgical Steel, joined up with Sid And Larry in 2000. I’ve been playing guitar since I was in third grade, I love experimenting with analog delay’s and effects pedals, fender Strats, Godin , Les Pual Gibson Guitars are my tools of choice, Fender tube and Marshall amps is my power of choice. My career has led me to this band ” Heavyfoot “and I am honored and proud to be a part of it.
Sid Dodd
Bass player for 80’s heavy metal band STEELGRAVE. Many, many years played with TRES HOMBRES until now becoming HEAVYFOOT. Larry, our drummer was our first drummer for Steelgrave but had to bow out due to travel distance. Yes, I’ve known him for a long time. Guitar player extraordinare, Tim has been my guitar player and great friend for 18 years. And our young, whipper-snapper vocalist, Chris has made me want to be twenty years younger. I’ve also played short gigs with WHISKEY WILD and THE DODD BOYS BAND. I play a Fender Precision Bass through an Ampeg SVT-350 head and Crate 4X10 cabinet. My only effect is a compressor sustainer.
Larry Melcher
I got my first kit when I was 7, a Ludwig 4 piece Blue Sparkle. When I turned 12, I took 2 drum lessons, wasn’t for me so I quit….so mostly self taught. Started playing seriously during and after High School. I joined a Country Band and started playing bars at 19….I “looked” 21. Through the years I’ve also played, Metal, Top 40…even a short run at Tex-Mex. I was asked to join “Tres Hombres” back in 2001. In 2013, we teamed up with Chris Lunday and now we’re “HeavyFoot”. I love playing on BIG kits, also enjoy playing and experimenting with different sounds and effects. I’m primarily a Progressive Rock fan…but enjoy listening to almost every genre of music there is. I use Sabian Cymbals, Evans Heads and Pro-Mark Portnoy Signature Series Sticks. I currently have 4 kits, a Alesis Electronic which is great for practice, a Custom Tama Starclassic, a DW Collectors Series, and a Mapex Saturn IV.

HeavyFoot consists of Chris Lunday on vocals and guitar, T.C. Collins on vocals and guitar, Sid Dodd on bass and Larry Melcher on drums. Eventhough Heavyfoot has been around since 2012, it's roots goes back many years. With core members from "Tres Hombres", along with Chris from "Uncle Nasty", they have all come together to form a band with a unique style all their own. Their original material reflects a vast array of musical influences that result in a cutting edge, almost Southern Rock feel, as well as playing classic rock and blues standards in a way that only they can. The members, Chris, T.C., Sid and Larry have been playing music for some time, in fact Sid and Larry have known each other and played in bands together on and off for over 20 years. T.C. has been in the music scene for many years, including playing in bands in Arizona. His guitar playing ability reflects his experience and dedication. Chris has a voice that really gives the band it's unique sound. His credits include numerous solo unplugged performances,plus leading several local bands. Collectively they have played at The Tower Theater, The Star Palace, Club Fred, Sequoia Brewing Company, Big Hat Days, Strummers, Audies, Fulton 55, The Babylon Club just to name a few, plus numerous TV and Radio appearances. Their music is also being featured on at least 70 stations in over 120 countries.
They are proud of the time they donate to non-profit organizations, such as ACT No Kill Animal Shelter, The VFW, Make A Wish, Ronald McDonald House and others. HeavyFoot is a BMI registered artist.
""HeavyFoot wears its influences on its sleeve and is no way pushing the envelope but it is still enjoyable if you can get down with this style of rock that is becoming more and more absent from the mainstream. Word on the street is that the band is due for a follow up and it has me wondering how the band has evolved. To be continued.
