Featuring the Flying Burrito Brothers' Chris Ethridge, The Turtles' Johnny Barbata, and La scenester Joel Scott Hill, this is probably the greatest and most obscure supergroup album of the early 70s. Produced by Paul Rotchild of Doors fame, this set features numerous guest appearances including Dr. John, Leon Russell, and Booker T. Jones. Hill's blue-eyed soul vocals on such rockers as ''It's Your Love'' and Dr. John's brilliant, New Orleans-soaked ''Craney Crow'' clearly attest to his sheer genius. Perhaps the album's crowning achievement is a version of Booker T.'s slow and smoky gospel/blues workout, ''Ole Man Trouble''.
