Southern Gun Culture. The name conjures visions of sweaty, overweight, middle-aged gun nuts with thick, Southern drawls. Slapping backs, drinking beers, voting republican for no other reason than they are supposed to. And talking guns. My nightmare. Get me the fuck out. Quick.
Anyway, not sure why I went off on a tirade. My writing gets more and more undisciplined. Let it not take away from the many joys of the BAND Southern Gun Culture. From Austin, Texas.
Room 65 is a composite of Sabbath heaviness, stoner-like heroin groove, and artsty noise/drone with a slight touch of Southern Rock flair. It's like Sabbath if they had been into free form jam. And had three singers. Or Dixie Witch coming off a Ketamine high.
